Disposable Vessel Culture Systems

Our disposable vessel culture systems are low cost, easy to use, rotary bioreactor systems that utilize disposable culture vessels.  Each vessel can be used only once, though there are no limits on the duration of the experiment.  Each culture vessel is gamma sterilized and individually packaged (heat sealed) for immediate use upon opening.  All disposable vessel bioreactor systems include four individually wrapped HARV culture vessels (10 mL or 50 mL), except the RCCS-8D and RCCS-8DQ, which include 8 vessels.

Advantages of disposable vessel culture systems:
  • No sterilization is required prior to use
  • Culture vessels can be discarded following use
  • Preferred for biohazardous materials
  • Lower cost rotator base and vessels

RCCS-D


The RCCS-D bioreactor rotates one disposable vessel at a single speed; the rotation speed is adjustable.

Includes:

RCCS-2D


The RCCS-2D rotates up to two disposable vessels at a single speed; the rotation speed adjustable.

RCCS-4D

The RCCS-4D bioreactors is capable of rotating four vessels at the same speed; the rotation speed is adjustable.

RCCS-4DQ


The RCCS-4DQ bioreactor is capable of rotating up to four disposable vessels at four independent speeds.  This system is ideal for conducting multiple experiments simultaneously.

RCCS-8D


The RCCS-8D bioreactor system rotates up to eight disposable vessels at a single speed. This system provides a cost-effective and time-efficient  way of testing several variables simultaneously.

RCCS-8DQ


The RCCS-8DQ bioreactor is capable of rotating eight disposable vessels at four independent speeds.  The stations rotate in pairs; each pair of stations can rotate at a speed independent of the other pairs.

Disposable Vessels

Disposable vessels are available in the High Aspect Ratio Vessels (HARVs).  Each vessel is individually packaged and gamma sterilized. Vessels are supplied four to a pack.
